Pezzimenti P.E. – Vice President RJR Engineering’s mechanical design team can provide the following services, all operated under our ASME NQA-1 Quality Assurance Program: Finite Element Analysis (FEA): Our projects have included static and dynamic seismic evaluation of pressure vessels, crane mounted camera systems, through-wall camera systems, rigging/lifting equipment, process piping components, storage tanks, and chemical process equipment Design/Evaluation of Pressure Vessels in accordance with ASME Section VIII, Div. 1 and 2. Past projects include design/evaluation of vertical vessels, horizontal vessels, spherical vessels, mixers and process columns. Design of Pressure Relief Systems for Pressure Vessels in accordance with ASME Section VIII, Div. 1, API 520, NFPA 30 and DIERS methodology. Previously, we have designed relief systems for approximately 100 vessels and tanks located in a Chemical Pilot Plant and design of relief systems for individual vessels. Evaluation and Certification of Storage Tanks used for Chemical Bulk Storage and RCRA. Evaluation & Inspections including determination of tank condition, corrosion rates, secondary containment requirements and conditions based on New York State Chemical Bulk Storage and RCRA requirements. Design of Hoisting and Rigging Equipment/Tooling for components used as “below the hook” lifting devices including several spreader beams and specialized lift devices used for the Nuclear and Power Generation Industries.
