Pressure Vessel DesignRJR Engineering has the capability to provide a complete pressure vessel design package tailored to each customer's temperature, pressure, chemical, and geometry requirements. We are experienced in the design of vessels in all sizes ranging from small testing applications to large process columns with a variety of shapes including cylindrical, spherical and rectangular. RJR Engineerng is very familiar with the practical design aspects of pressure vessel components such as access hatches, platforms, davits, insulation, baffles, nozzles, and support structures. Standard design details are utilized whenever possible to maintain an economical design. However, we also have a proven record of developing creative designs for specialized research, chemical and nuclear applications. Our professional engineering staff has many years of experience using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to either confirm simple designs, or validate complex and/or intricate design details that are not readily handled using traditional engineering techniques. Our abilities with this technology enables us to simulate typical and atypical operating events such as seismic criteria, wind loadings, transient temperature and pressure gradients, and expected service loadings to predict resulting stresses. As a result, we can produce and supply our client with a variety of different forms of vessel documentation from 2-dimensional drawings to 3-dimensional models and simulations. |
